Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: we have confidence in ourselves
The new daily schedule of Gran Turismo 7 races is now available for the next week, and you’ll want to visit the GT7 Car Tuning forum if you want to stay on top of it.
Of course, in the long absence, there are some viewing options available at two of this week’s three races, which run every 20 minutes (or 30 minutes for Race C) throughout the day. The next seven, which require a little basic knowledge.
Race A gives you the main race island that has been part of the daily races since their introduction in the GT Sport beta, but it doesn’t offer any DR updates. This means that no matter how successful or unsuccessful your race is, your driver rating will not be affected. Be careful though, your Sports List (SR) will be updated regularly.
It’s a six lap sprint around the small Watkins Glen circuit – skipping the entire Boot section – for the next generation R34 Skyline GT-R. You should only load the Skyline with Sports Hard tires for racing, but watch out for false launch controls.
This feature automatically penalizes you if you go between turning on the last start light and turning off all lights to start the race. This penalty takes the form of precision and rapid engine power cuts, and you can, depending on your position on the grid, be the scene of a terrible accident.
Races B and C share some details this week. The first is to move the car, where you can adjust the anti-roll, damping (rebound and rebound), spring suspension and different torque settings in addition to the usual brake settings.
It should be noted that both races will also need to pass through the pit road, but under two different rules. For Race B, you’ll want to use the track, but you won’t want to change tires or oil (or you won’t), while for Race C, you’ll want to change tires to use both Racing Hard and Racing.
Smaller tires during the race. Failure to follow these rules under any circumstances will result in you paying a penalty of one minute after the race. Race B will be a bit frenetic, with a ten-speed circuit around the compact Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Gr.4 cars. It will have all the power of a BTCC race, so you’ll want to survive on the Racing Hard tires fitted to these unassisted stock race cars.
Speed C offers a more open system, with a redesigned Deep Forest circuit. But it’s up to him, so the new hair is the first braking zone of the song. Not to mention leaving the pits and running lines…
It’s a 14-lap race for Gr.3 cars and not only do you have to change the tires during the race, but you have to look in style. The density of the tire is set at 7x (seven times the standard rate), which increases a little higher and means that you will want to make sure that you do not run the Medium tire that is stickier than the best. Daily Race is a ranked GT7 multiplayer event.
Your Driver Rating (DR) and Sports Rating (SR) are determined by your performance, updated after each race, and are used to determine your ranking and your competition for the in-game export process whatever. To get the daily championship, you’ll need to unlock game mode by completing Menu 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe single-player hub.
A PlayStation Plus subscription is required to participate. With Daily GT7 Racing updated every Monday throughout the game’s life to date, the next new series will arrive on Monday, September 23.
