Apple Sets iPhone 16 ‘Glowtime’ Event for September 9

Apple‘s tagline on the invitation says: “It’s Glowtime,” which may refer to a redesigned Siri that takes over part of the iPhone’s screen with a glowing effect.

Apple will unveil its iPhone 16 lineup on September 9, as the company began sending out invitations on Monday for the upcoming event. The official announcement comes as previous reports said that the event will take place on September 10.

Apple is using the slogan “It’s Glowtime” for the event, which will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. As always, rumors have been circulating for the past few weeks and months about the content of the program. For example, reports suggest that the iPhone 16 line will include a larger screen in the Pro version and a new button dedicated to taking pictures.

The idea behind this feature is to make it easier to grab content in the home page. All iPhone 16 models are expected to use the Action button, which was previously only available in the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
